Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, execution, and supervision of all civil engineering activities related to solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The candidate will ensure civil works are completed within schedule, budget, and quality requirements while complying with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning & Coordination:
Coordinate with project management, design, and procurement teams for timely civil works execution.
Understand project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Prepare and review civil BOQs, work schedules, and resource planning.
2. Site Execution & Supervision:
Supervise all civil activities such as:
Site grading and levelling
Pile foundations or RCC foundations for module mounting structures (MMS)
Equipment foundations (inverter, transformer, switchgear)
Cable trenching, earthing pits, and boundary walls
Internal roads and stormwater drainage
Ensure proper execution as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality control norms.
3. Quality Assurance & Control:
Conduct inspections of civil materials and workmanship.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, checklists, and test reports (e.g., cube tests, compaction tests).
Coordinate with third-party testing agencies as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience in ground-mounted solar projects preferred
